New School Rule: Skip Homework Still Get Grade

A new system in Iowa allows kids to skip homework assignments and still have the ability to pass. They are taking away the consequences of laziness. I know several schools in Ohio that are changing the grading systems as well. Are we dumbing down our kids?

Supposedly since the rise in ethanol a lot of barley brewers are switching to corn instead of the normal staple. The article also states beer has "always been the blue-collar mans drink" which is complete rubbish. Tell that to the monks who started brewing it in the 1100's range.

We're supposed to see 17 but only 5 are between 3-5 on the Saffir-Simpson Scale (maybe we need a different scale?). Must be disappointing for all the weather channels and global warming enthusiasts. Especially since we had such a bang up year in '06.
